KARACHI, April 30: Mubashir Ahmed cracked an unbeaten half-century and Rizwan Saeed captured four wickets to put Korangi Al-Fateh Cricket Club in the Karachi Region PCB National Club Cricket Championship final here at the PCB Academy ground on Sunday.
Rizwan, in a fiery spell, took four wickets for 19 and Anis Sheikh got 3-23 as Asifabad Sports crumbled to 96 all out in 30 overs. Korangi Al-Fateh CC romped home for the loss of just two wickets. Mubashir Ahmed banged seven fours and brace of sixes in his unbeaten 61.
Meanwhile, in another league-round match Ravi Gymkhana defeated Tapal Cricket Club by 21 runs at the TMC Ground thanks to a brilliant century from opener Lal Kumar, who blasted six fours and three sixes. Kumar also contributed with the leather as he grabbed two wickets.
