By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, April 30: The CBR will hold two-day national conference in Karachi to seek feedback from stakeholders on the steps taken as part of tax administration reform programme (TARP).

An official announcement issued here on Monday said the conference will commence from Thursday in Karachi to involve the external and internal stakeholders at all levels in support of the TARP.

The conference will apprise them about progress and achievements of the said programme and to create the feeling of ownership of the TARP in the private sector. Opening session will be followed by session on Direct Taxes on May 3, whereas sessions on sales tax and customs are to be held on May 4, 2007.
