KARACHI, April 29: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz presided over a high-level meeting soon after arriving here on Sunday. The meeting was attended by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and Federal Information Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani.

The prime minister said at the meeting that record allocations for development projects had brought about improvements in the quality of life of the people and the government would continue to enhance development allocations.

He discussed implementation of various development projects, including Lyari Expressway, Northern Bypass, RBOD, Nara Canal and motorway projects with the governor and the chief minister.

Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim informed the prime minister that law and order situation had improved in Sindh due to the focused and concerted efforts of the provincial government.
