KARACHI, April 27: The Federal Minister for Communication, Mohammad Shamim Siddiqui, presided over a meeting here on Friday to discuss the development work, road network and transport issues in various housing societies.
Representatives of Saadi Town, Gulshan-i-Umair, Amroha Society and Bilawal Goth attended the meeting.
The federal minister was apprised of land-grabbing, encroachments, law and order and other problems in Bin Qasim Town.
Mr Siddiqui issued orders to the officials concerned for mitigating the problems and directed the town police officer concerned to improve law and order in his jurisdiction.
