KARACHI, April 26: Two ships carrying containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, two more ships with containers and general cargo also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at 80pc at the wharves where eight ships, Xiang Wan, ACX Pumeria, Sibi, Passada, Gemini, Pegasus-7, Al-Maqwa and Capt. George-L, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, canola seeds, edible oil, diesel oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 0.103 million tons comprising 0.096 million tons of import and 0.007 million tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Nedlloyed Oceana and. Xiang Wan left the port while ACX Pumeria, Gemini, Pagasus-7 and Al-Maqwa were due to depart.
