Murderer gets life term

KOHAT, April 20: The district and sessions judge of Kohat on Friday sentenced a man involved in a double murder case to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs400,000.

The accused, Mohammad Amin, had killed his wife and a man, Sharbat Khan, four years back in the name of honour.

The court ordered the accused to pay Rs200,000 each to the heirs of the two victims. In case of failure to make the payments, the accused would have to undergo a sentence of six months imprisonment on each count, the court added.
