KARACHI, April 18: Two container ships accommodated berths at QICT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday. Meanwhile, two more ships carrying furnace oil and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at 70pc as seven ships were occupying berths at the wharves.

A cargo volume of 45,806 tons comprising 33,742 tons of import and 12,064 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Maersk Georgia, Fill Comfort, Eastern Aminty and Warba left the port.
