Opec oil exports to rise

LONDON, April 12: Opec oil exports, excluding new member Angola, will rise by 210,000 barrels per day in the four weeks to April 28, an analyst who estimates future exports said on Thursday.

Roy Mason of consultancy Oil Movements estimated Opec seaborne exports, excluding Angola on a four-week average would rise to 24.21 million bpd, compared with 24 million bpd in the four weeks to March 31.

The forecast marks the fourth consecutive week that Oil Movements has recorded a rise in shipments and suggests that adherence by Opec to 1.7 million bpd of pledged supply curbs is slipping.—Reuters
