KARACHI, April 12: Six ships scheduled to load/offload containers and chemicals, diesel oil and iron ore were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, three more ships carrying containers, edible Oil and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage. Eight ships, Zanzibar Mimosa, Bagdad, Chemstar Brave, Berenice, Fifi Queen, Keefan and Capt. George-L, were occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, chemicals, diesel oil, and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 52,317 tons comprising 34,245 tons of import and 18,072 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Alesevada, Nedlloyed Euroope, Zanzabasr, ACX Mimosa, Baghdad and Chemstar Brave left the port.
