NEW YORK, April 9: Raw sugar futures were called to open flat to 0.05 cent firmer on Monday in open-outcry trading as players eye the rolling of positions after the Easter holiday break, floor sources said. The sugar market was closed Good Friday. Dealings may be light because the London marked remained shut Monday for Easter and will reopen Tuesday.
Investors are expected to transfer positions from the spot May contract in earnest this week because the contract is due to expire in three weeks, brokers said.
