KARACHI, April 7: Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Altaf Hussain will address a public meeting on Sunday to apprise the people of latest developments with regard to the imposition of Shariat by clerics of Lal Masjid in Islamabad.

According to a press release issued from London on Saturday, the decision to hold a public meeting was taken at a hurriedly-called session of MQM Coordination Committee held simultaneously in Karachi and London.

The address would be relayed simultaneously throughout the country including the provincial capitals and 17 zones of Sindh. The central gathering will be held at the Jinnah Ground near party’s headquarters Nine Zero, Azizabad.

Mr Hussain will address the meeting and inform the people the entire situation and make important announcement regarding party’s future line of action. –Staff Reporter
