KARACHI, April 7: Major General Wajahat Ali Muftee has asked the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) management to expedite work on all ongoing projects of solid waste management, sewerage system, street lights, roads and parks.
Speaking at the Beach Avenue Clifton water purification plant inauguration, he directed CBC officials to resolve peoples’ problems and facilitate residents. He also asked officials of other municipalities to provide maximum facilities to the people.
He said Sea View was one of the most beautiful places of the country and asked officials to ensure its environment stayed neat and clean. MNA Captain (retd) Akhlaq Hussein, MPA Akhtar Bilgrami and Chief Executive Officer CBC Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmed Mir were also present on the occasion.—A Reporter
