KARACHI, April 7: Three more ships with containers, diesel oil and edible oil arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday. Berthing activity was slow as only one container ship was allotted berth. A total of six ships, CSAV Ningbo, Shujaa, Lion Princess, Alesevada, Maersk Barry and Tazi Archist-I, were busy in loading and unloading containers, wheat, rice, seeds, edible oil and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 49,619 tons comprising 39,011 tons of import and 10,608 tons of export tonnage was handled.
