KARACHI, April 6: Seven ships carrying chemical, wheat and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Asian Queen, Teen to load cement, Victoria to load rice, APL Dalian to unload and load containers, Benarita to offload iron scrap and Rising One to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included Hyundai Highway, Y.M. Fortune, Tower Bridge, Selendang Mayang and Sea Glory, while Johar, Hozan Maru, APL Dalian and Rising One are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 69,564 tons comprising 8,288 tons of export cargo and 61,276 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Stolt Ami with chemicals, Wan Hai-311, Kuo Cang, Oel Victory and Hayley Nahdi with containers and Liberty Spirit to unload 18,000 tons of wheat.
