KARACHI, April 5: Three ships to load ad offload containers and LPG were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday. Berth occupancy was maintained at 70pc as seven ships, Bgdad, Lucien, Shujaa-3, Chahat, Gulf Coast, Al-Maqwa and Gas Fowless, were busy in loading and unloading containers, wheat, carbon oil, diesel oil and LPG.

A cargo volume of 51,871 tons comprising 27,379 tons of import and 24,492 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Bgdad, Gulf Coast, Al-Maqwa, Ned Africa, Yanaseni left the port while Chahat, Lucien and Gas Fowless were due to depart.
