KARACHI: US-consulate bombing case hearing adjourned
KARACHI, April 2: The Anti-Terrorism Court No 5 headed by Judge Haq Nawaz Baloch on Monday adjourned the proceedings of the US consulate bombing case till April 4.
Two accused, Osman Ghani and Anwarul Haq, are charged with preparing the plot for the car bombing near US consulate on March 2, 2006.
According to the details, an alleged suicide attacker, Muhammad Tahir, rammed an explosive-laden car into a vehicle carrying US diplomat David Foy as soon as it left the consulate's gate.
The attack killed persons, the US diplomat and three Pakistanis, dead and 48 others wounded. — APP
