KARACHI, April 2: Pakistan Steel has achieved a great landmark by crossing the Rs3bn mark in the month of March 2007. This was announced by a spokesman for the Pakistan Steel here on Monday.

He said the total sales proceeds have been recorded at Rs3,303.20 million.

The spokesman further pointed out that the sales figures for the third quarter of the fiscal year i.e. January to March 2007, stood at Rs8,614.88 million.

This, he added, is the highest ever sale figure achieved during any third quarter of financial year. The previous highest for this quarter was Rs7,762.68 million, it was further stated.—APP
