QUETTA, March 31: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf has said that 600 public prosecutors will be recruited in the province soon.

Speaking at a public meeting in Sariab area on Saturday, he said that new vacancies were created to implement the policy of the government to provide speedy justice to people at their doorsteps.

“It will help in disposing of cases in minimum time and lawyers will get jobs,” he stressed.

He said the government had also decided to give ownership rights to residents of Katchi Abadis and peasants in the province.

He announced a development package of Rs20 million for different areas of Chiltan town.

The chief minister while addressing a gathering of PML-Q activists here on Saturday said the elements who misguided youths of Balochistan in the past once again wanted to give gun in their hands, instead of pen.

“They destroyed a generation and again doing the same but the government will not allow them to misguide the youths of Balochistan,” he said.

He said that those who wanted to push new generation towards destruction through creating hatred could not be well-wishers of the country and Balochistan.

“They are committing heinous crime against new generation,” he said.

He called upon youths to come forward and defeat these forces that were creating hurdles in development of the province and wanted to use their abilities against the country.

He said that the government was making efforts for providing maximum facilities to youth of Balochistan and now it was responsibility of youths to come forward and take benefit from the facilities for their better future.

PML-Q woman wing leader Robina Irfan said the government did not believe in hallow promises and tall claims and was taking practical steps for the speedy development of Balochistan.

Sardar Naqibullah Tareen, Ambrose John Frances, Naeem Tareen, Pir Khalid Sultan, Saifuddin Kibzai and Khuda Bakhsh Ronjha also spoke on the occasion.
