Balochistan: SC urged to take suo motu notice
QUETTA, March 30: National Party chief Dr Hayee Baloch and Leader of Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly, Kachkol Ali Baloch, said on Thursday that security forces had launched a fresh military operation in Awaran and Darakhshan areas of the province.
In separate statements, they appealed to the ARD to extend genuine support to the Baloch struggle and condemn the military operation in the province.
They said that a few days ago the government forces carried out operations in Chagai, Tump and Mand areas.
They called upon the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of what they called state oppression against the Baloch.
They demanded that the government should stop killing people and displacing them from their soil.They said that the Baloch were facing the wrath of usurpers as they had been raising voice against the occupation of their resources.
