KARACHI: Contaminated water


KARACHI, March 29: Residents of Liaquatabad have complained of contaminated water supply to their area for the last six months causing various diseases. They said that the most affected areas were behind the KMC Dispensary and near the Masjid Aqsa. It was pointed out that main reason for water contamination was obsolete pipelines. People said that several complaints were lodged with the KWSB but to no avail. They demanded of the city nazim to intervene and get the problem solved.—A Reporter
