KARACHI, March 27: Four ships to load and unload containers, cement and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, two more ships carrying containers and diesel oil arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at 60pc as six ships, Brianna, Maersk Dhaka, Afamia, Desina, Oriental Miho and Capt. George-L, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, diesel oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 98,860 tons comprising 79,305 tons of import and 19,555 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Brianna, Maersk Dhaka, Oriental Miho and Storm Ranger left the port.
