KARACHI, March 26: A lecture on ‘The science behind Indian Ocean tsunami of December 2004’ will be held on Tuesday, March 27 at Latif Ebrahim Jamal (LEJ) National Science Information Centre, University of Karachi. Prof Dr Mazhar Haq, an internationally renowned oceanographer with extensive experience in establishing oceanographic institutions in various regions of the world, will deliver the lecture on the issue. The lecture is being organized under the umbrella of International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi.—APP
