KARACHI: Young artists should be acknowledged

KARACHI, March 26: Gulmohar Art Gallery wants to promote budding artists of the country across the world, said its proprietor, Shaheen Siddiqui. She said the gallery had served as a platform for young artists and encouraged them without keeping the financial benefits in mind.

The gallery opened its doors three years ago, has held 21 exhibitions to date in which creations of seasoned as well as novices were displayed.

She said they plan to take it a step further and make the work of these new comers known throughout the world.

Shaheen said it was important to realise the country was not lacking in talented people, what was missing were the people who support their work and them.—Our Reporter
