KARACHI, March 26: Three ships carrying containers and chemicals were accommodated berths at QICT and EVT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday. Meanwhile, three more ships to load containers and cement also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy stood at 60pc as nine ships, CMA CGM Turkey, Nederland, Sima Pars, Anvil Point, Storm Ranger, Regent, Gas Maluku, Oriental Miho and Capt. George-L, were busy in loading and unloading containers, sunflower seeds, crude oil, LPG, chemicals and iron ore. A cargo volume of 56,535 tons comprising 48,426 tons of import and 8,109 tons of export tonnage was handled.
