Bid to kidnap girl foiled

JACOBABAD, March 25: Local people foiled a bid to kidnap a minor girl in Thul on Sunday. A man riding a bicycle tried to kidnap the girl, daughter of Sarmad, a journalist, from Baloch Colony, Thul.

The girl screamed for help a which attracted the attention of people who rushed for her rescue.

The accused set free the girl, left the bicycle and escaped.

The father of the girl informed SHO Thull but police did not reach the place.

The citizens brought the bicycle at police station. No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

TWO KILLED: Two persons lost their lives over an old enmity in the jurisdiction of Ghauspur police station on Sunday.

The deceased's brother Ali Mohammad Bhayo lodged an FIR against eleven person of Jakhrani community that they had killed Allah Rakhio and Mohammad Ayub Bhayo.

The dispute cropped over theft of buffaloes six year back which so far has claimed ten lives.
