KARACHI: Prolonged power cuts in various areas

KARACHI, March 24: Residents of various localities complained of prolonged and intermittent power suspensions on Saturday.

A complainant from Qasba Colony said that power supply to the area remained suspended from 10.30am to 12.30pm. He said that KESC would suspend power supply to this area after 11pm for six to seven hours as a routine.

A consumer from Liaquatabad said that power supply to his area was suspended almost daily for two to three hours.

A resident of Farid Colony said that his locality remained without electricity from 7am to 2pm and again from 5pm to 6pm. He said that due to power failure, water was also not supplied to the area.

Reports of power suspensions were also received from Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road, I. I. Chundrigar Road, Shershah, Haroonabad, Malir and Pak Colony.
