Robbers injure three

LAHORE: March 22: Robbers shot at and injured a couple during a house robbery in Millat Park on Thursday. Police said four armed men burst into the house of Abdul Rasheed and opened fire on inmates when they offered resistance. The intruders collected cash and jewellery worth over Rs90,000 and managed their escape.

Injured Haroon and Munaz were rushed to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital.

Two gunmen injured Shafeeq on Lajpat Road in Shahdra early Thursday when he put resistance.

In another incident, Raheel was deprived of cash and a cell phone by two robbers in Gawalmandi. The police did not confirm the incident.

Two armed people, riding a bike, stopped Atif Ali and his mother in Iqbal Town and snatched Rs25,000, a cell phone and jewellery. They were on way on home by a bike after drawing cash from a bank.

Two motorcyclists deprived Khurram Hussian Shah of Rs30,000 and a cell phone near a Wapda Colony drain in Baghbanpura.

Two armed people plundered a shop in Wapda Town on Thursday. Two incidents of cell phone and cash snatching were reported from Lahore airport and Qilla Gujjar Singh areas.

Dr Ashfaq was deprived of his car (LEL-3448) in Township.

THEFT: Thieves broke into Aamir Printing Press in Qilla Gujjar Singh and made off with 2,000 printing plates.

STOLEN: Two cars were reportedly driven away from Factory Area and Mustafaabad while five motorcycles were lifted from North Cantonment, Samanabad, South Cantonment, Baghbanpura and Qila Gujjar Singh.
