KARACHI, March 22: Three ships carrying containers, furnace oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday. Meanwhile, four more ships with containers, crude oil and seeds also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy remained at 70pc as seven ships, Socotra, Panama, Denden, Gemini, Al-Mukhtarh, Jo Oak and Feng Shann Hai, were busy in loading and unloading containers, wheat, edible oil, furnace oil, chemicals and coal.A cargo volume of 63,339 tons comprising 53,709 tons of import and 9,630 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Socotra and Panama left the port while Jo Oak was due to depart.
