KARACHI, March 22: Four ships carrying containers, steel coils and crude oil are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Y.M. Faha, Kota Gunawan, Corin Thikos, Iran Baahaei, Hyundai Stride and Victoria were berthed to unload and load containers.

Five ships, Y.M. Faha, APL Yokohama, African Cobra, Zayed and Swat departed on Thursday, while Hyundai Stride and Victoria are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 65,524 tons comprising 26,674 tons of export cargo including 5,089 tons of cement and 38,850 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Shalamar with crude oil, Orient Independence, Iran Hesabi with containers and Yick Zao with steel coils.

The following vessels are due on Saturday: APL Dalian, Comoron Pride, Bunga Delima and Nordwoge with containers and Sania to load 7,000 tons of rice.
