MMA MNA announces resignation from NA
ISLAMABAD, March 19: Central Leader Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Dr. Farid Ahmad Piracha has announced his resignation from National Assembly seat in protest of Presidential reference against “inactive” Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry. He appealed to members National Assembly belonging to opposition parties to tender resignation from National Assembly seats and save the country from dictatorial acts.—Online
