Tribunal to inquire into clashes

LAHORE, March 17: The Lahore High Court on Saturday constituted a tribunal headed by Lahore district and sessions judge Rauf Ahmad Sheikh to hold an inquiry into clashes between police and lawyers on March 13 and 17.

According to an official statement, the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court has issued orders in this regard.

The tibunal will start hearing by March 21. The Senior Civil Judge, Lahore, Abdur Razzaq has been appointed registrar of the tribunal. People have been asked to get their names registered with his office at Aiwan-i-Adl within two days till March 20 te record their evidence.—Staff Reporter
