KARACHI, March 17: Three ships carrying containers, edible oil and wheat arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday. Berthing activity was slow as two container ships were accommodated berths at QICT. Six ships were occupying berths to load and unload containers, wheat, diesel oil, fertiliser, seeds, chemicals and iron ore. A cargo volume of 70,729 tons comprising 64,336 tons of import and 6,393 tons of export tonnage was handled. Ibn Battotah and Nord Naptun left the port.
