KARACHI, March 16: Six vessels carrying containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Four ships, Oel Aishwarya, APL Dalian to unload and load containers, Splendour and Gemini, tanker were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Y.M. Sun, Harmony, Al-Maqwa and Bang Lanka, while Chitral, Brave John, Splendour Gemini, Hayley Nadhi and Oel Aishwaraya are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 77,687 tons comprising 17,748 tons of export cargo and 59,939 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Bunga Terasek, Lydia Oldendorf, Orient Independence, Oel Esteem and Kota Merdesa with containers and Pacific Express with general cargo.
