Lanka trounce Bermuda

Sri Lanka recorded the second highest victory margin in World Cup history when they crushed debutants Bermuda by 243 runs after skittling them out for 78 in a Group B match at Port of Spain, Trinidad, on Thursday.

SCORES: Sri Lanka 321 for six Bermuda 78.

In a Group D match at Kingston, Jamaica, Zimbabwe were 89 for 1 after 20 overs in reply to Ireland’s 221.—Reuters
