BAHAWALPUR, March 15: A six-day workshop on “Development of safari parks in Punjab” was inaugurated on Thursday at Lal Sohanra’s rest house “Whispering Hill”, about 35km from here.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Wildlife director-general Muhammad Imtiaz Tajwar said the main objective of the workshop was to formulate a comprehensive plan for this park.

He said a Singaporean company would be assigned millions of rupees project to convert the Lal Sohanra park into a safari park of international standard.
