By Aziz Malik

HYDERABAD, March 14: Two people were killed and six others were injured when a pick-up was hit by Mehran Express at an unmanned railway crossing, near Rahuki, some five kilometres off Tandojam, on Wednesday. The accident occurred because driver of the pick-up misjudged speed of the train and tried to cross the railway track. The train was going from Mirpurkhas to Karachi.

The deceased were identified as Ajmal Kolhi and Netan Kolhi.

The injured — Raju Kolhi, Kirshan Kolhi, Punhoon Kolhi, Allah Bachayo Khaskheli and two unidentified men — were admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad.

The bodies were handed over to relatives after post-mortem.

The Tandojam police impounded the damaged pick-up.
