ISLAMABAD, March 14: A high-level official delegation led by Minister for Privatisation and Investment Zahid Hamid will leave next week for New Delhi to attend a two-day conference on emerging investment opportunities in South Asian power sector being held from March 20-21.

The conference is being organised jointly by Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), USAID and the FICCI.

The conference will focus on the investment opportunities highlighting emerging market structures in South Asian countries, opportunities for cross border electricity trade and critical sector regulatory and policy issues.
