PAF pilot dies in F-7 crash

QUETTA, March 13: An F-7 fighter plane of the Pakistan Air Force on Tuesday crashed in the Kharotabad area near Samungli airbase, official sources said.

Pilot Flight Lieutenant Gulfam died in the crash while Pilot Taha suffered injuries.

According to the sources, the plane was on routine flying.

PAF officials concerned rushed to the site and shifted the two pilots to the CMH where Mr Gulfam died.

However, no other life or property loss was reported as the jet crashed away from human settlements.

The Air Headquarters has set up a board to ascertain the reason of the crash, the sources added.
