Chehlum security

KOHAT, March 13: The administration has closed down two government high schools until March 17 to accommodate contingents of the Frontier Constabulary called to the region for the security of Chehlum procession of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) to be taken out here on Thursday.

The administration has also declared Thursday as a holiday because the district would remain sealed and all bazaars closed. Similarly, the district nazim has enforced Section 144 in the city and banned pillion-riding, carrying of arms except for personnel of security forces and use of loudspeakers except for Azan.
