KARACHI: Sindh govt’s computer plan

KARACHI, March 12: The Sindh government has planned to offer computers on easy instalments to the low-income group for which it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an international IT firm.

The Sindh IT department in a bid to boost computer literacy among the people, signed an MoU with the Intel Pakistan and the Muslim Commercial Bank here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sindh IT Adviser Noman Saigol said the provision of computers on easy instalments would immensely benefit education, computer literacy and IT in the province.

He appreciated the role of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad in the promotion of IT and making it possible for low-income group to get computers.—Staff Reporter
