Another dud missile found

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, March 10: A dud missile was found near a shrine here on Saturday. Police believe that the missile was from the huge Ojhri Camp arsenal that blew up almost 19 years ago. Some labourers found the device when they were digging earth near a shrine next to Faizabad flyover in the jurisdiction of Shahzad Town police station. The police along with a bomb disposal squad reached the site and after inspection declared the missile a dud. A quick survey was undertaken around the discovery spot, however, no other projectile was found. Ojhri Camp military depot exploded on April 10, 1988, resulting in widespread destruction. The missiles and projectiles that rain down on the twin cities left more than 100 people dead.
