Afghan ‘spy’ killed

MIRAMSHAH, March 9: Militants gunned down an Afghan national, accusing him of being a US spy, in the Momadkhel area of North Waziristan on Thursday night, local people said on Friday.

Abdur Rahim belonged to Khost province of Afghanistan, sources said, adding he had been captured in Miramshah bazaar a few days ago on charges of spying for US. They said the man was kept in a secret cell for interrogation. On Thursday night, the militants shot him dead.
