SARGODHA, March 9: Young law graduates who had obtained LLB degrees from University of Sargodha recently staged a demonstration and blocked the University Road for they have been refused enrollment as an advocate because a proper faculty of law was not set up in the university.

They said the Pakistan Bar council had refused to recognise law degrees issued by the University of Sargodha.

Newly-posted VC Chaudhry Muhammad Akram said he had taken up this matter with authorities concerned.

Rana Anees, a varsity graduate, alleged that due to irresponsible attitude of the authorities over 100 students were facing uncertain future.

He alleged that a similar problem was being faced by the students of the pharmacy department.
