Boy killed; man injured

RAWALPINDI, March 9: A 12-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a blunt object in Ganjmandi area while a man was injured when a string slashed his neck in Waris Khan area on Friday, police and hospital sources said.

Mohammad Munir was sitting outside his house when he was hit on the head by a blunt object. The injured boy was shifted to DHQ hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police believe that the boy might have been hit by a stray bullet. Whereas according to the postmortem report, the boy died after being hit by a blunt object. However, the police have started investigations.
