ISLAMABAD, March 7: The board of the Privatisation Commission (PC) reviewed the progress of pre-qualification process of potential parties and recommendations of the transactions committee for allowing them for due diligence of the PSO in the data room.

Mr Zahid Hamid, federal minister for privatisation and investment, chaired the meeting here on Wednesday.

According to handout, the PC board directed the financial advisor for PSO to ensure completion of all documentation prior to opening of data room.

The board constituted two separate committees for capital market transactions and for privatisation of coal and salt mines projects of Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC).

The meeting reviewed the bidding result for the sale of land of Services International Hotel, Lahore, and decided to invite fresh expressions of interest from interested parties for building a five- star hotel.

The PC Board also reviewed the status and progress of ongoing and upcoming entities and directed to complete them after resolving all issues.

Members of the board of the Privatisation Commission, senior officials of the respective ministries and departments attended the meeting.
