Youth crushed by bus

LAHORE, March 6: People damaged a bus which crushed a young man on Zarrar Shaheed Road in the South Cantonment area on Tuesday.

Police said Asif Masih, 18, was crossing the road along with his father Mitthu near Iftikhar Academy when the bus crushed him.

Passers-by, passengers and local people gathered on the spot, blocked the road and lodged a protest against the careless driving.

The angry mob damaged the bus and tried to put it on fire but police pacified the mob.

The bus driver managed to escape.
