Two brothers found murdered

Published March 7, 2007

KASUR, March 6: Two brothers were found murdered here on Tuesday at Kuram Singh village. Reports said Akram, 10, and his brother Ashraf, 12, of Mahmee village went to get their 23 sheep grazed near Kuram Singh when some unidentified men strangled the former and shot dead the latter. At noon, their father Bashir Ahmed, who went to give them lunch, found his sons murdered. The cattle were recovered.

Chunian DSP Rao Asif Zaman and the Changa Manga SHO reached the spot, sent the bodies to THQ hospital for autopsy and registered a case on the report of Bashir Ahmed.

Police suspected that the minor shepherds might have been killed over some enmity.
