By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, March 6: Inspector-General of Police, Sindh, Jahangir Mirza, has constituted four committees to complete the recruitment process to fill up the vacancies of contingent staff in all the three regions in the province and the Central Police Office.

A spokesman for the provincial police chief said on Tuesday that the committees had been constituted to make the recruitment process transparent.

According to him, Mr Mirza directed the chairmen of the committees to strictly observe the specified procedure so that a uniform standard might be adopted for selection of suitable candidates for the posts of contingent staff in Sindh police. The selection process is scheduled to commence on March 11.

The spokesman said the committee constituted for recruitment in the CPO would be headed by the DIG of the special branch, and committee for recruitment in the Capital City Police would be headed by DIG administration.

He said that DIG operations of Hyderabad would be the head of the committee for recruitment in his region, and DIG operations of Larkana, for the Sukkur region.
