Sindh women skiers lift title

MALAM JABBA, March 5: Sindh women skiers stunned their rivals to win the Saadia Khan Ski Cup here on Sunday in style. It was a fine achievement from the Sindh team comprising Adeeba Junaidi, Anmar Habib and Sidra Kamran since the competition had skiers from various ski associations of Pakistan contesting in it.

The participating teams included Sindh, NWFP, Punjab, Balochistan, Islamabad, Nothern Areas, Adventure Foundation, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force who competed in temepratures below freezing point.

Group Captain Zulfiqar H Khan, Secretary Ski Federation of Pakistan was the Chief Guest on the occasion and distributed the trophies and awards among the winners. A large number of spectators and ski lovers from all across the country came to witness the championship.— Agencies
