MMA wins nazim election
PESHAWAR, March 5: Abdul Haq of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal defeated Zahid Khaliq of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q in the election for the seat of Broze union council nazim on Monday. The seat was declared vacant after an election tribunal disqualified nazim Rehmat Naeem Shah on the ground that he possessed sanad of a seminary. Abdul Haq polled 1,028 votes and Zahid Khaliq scored 975.
